Our Founder Pt. Satyendra Mishra was popularly known as “Munnan Mharaja” born in a oriental scholar family in year 1951. The ancestral root came to Varanasi in 18 th century from Ariyamagirh (Azamgarah) the great seat of Vedic Brahmin lineage to the spiritual capital of world Varanasi. The Mishra family in there Ram Mandir premises just above Dashaswamedh Ghat enhance their residential space only because their experiation to live in the lap of Maa Ganga and under the umbrella of Prabhu Ram.
Pt. Satyendra Mishra the youngest son of Lt. Pt. Kishori Lal Mishra, a post graduate of Banaras Hindu University nourished metaphysical regard for Maa Ganga the Holiest River of the planet since childhood. Last four decades of Satyendra Mishra’s life which was ended untimely on 08 th of Aug, 2013 was dedicated to the services of Maa Ganga as an individual and as founder of Ganga Seva Nidhi.
